Academic Research
Graduate students, faculty, and independent researchers can use our collections for theses, papers, and projects on Toronto's wellness history.
We offer research consultations, document copies, and special access to rare materials for academic work.
Research Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM by appointment
Community Contributions
If you or your family have documents, photos, or objects related to Toronto's wellness institutions, please contact us about donating or lending them.
We assess historical materials professionally and work with donors to preserve items and provide public access.
Donation Consultations: Available by appointment, including home visits for large collections
Professional Development
Today's wellness practitioners, healthcare workers, and public health staff can learn about historical precedents for modern therapies through our programs.
We run workshops that link historical practices to current, evidence-based wellness, which can count for continuing education.

Visit Our Facility
The Seventh Heaven Wellness Archive is in a custom-built research facility in Vancouver, with climate-controlled storage, digital workstations, and meeting rooms for working with historical materials.
Our facility includes a public reading room, digitization laboratory, and exhibition space showcasing rotating displays of materials from our collections. Researchers have access to specialized equipment for document analysis and digital photography.
The building is fully accessible and located on public transit routes with nearby parking available. We welcome both individual researchers and organized group visits from educational institutions.

We provide professional research services including document location, digital reproduction, and certified copies of historical materials for legal, academic, or personal use.

Research Fees: $75/hour for professional research, $25 per document reproduction
Expert Consultations
Our team of historians, archivists, and wellness heritage specialists provide expert consultation services for media, legal proceedings, and specialized research projects.
Consultation Types:

- Expert witness services for legal cases
- Media interviews and fact-checking
- Curatorial advice for exhibitions

Consultation Fees: $150/hour, with reduced rates for nonprofit and educational projects
